You test it. We refine it together.
You receive physical samples to evaluate in real conditions — texture, scent, absorption, and performance. We iterate based on your feedback. Up to two rounds of refinement are included in every project, ensuring the formula is exactly right before we move to production.

Shelf-ready from day one.
With your approved formula in hand, we move to packaging. We source compliant, brand-aligned packaging — bottles, jars, tubes, airless pumps, and more. Our team prepares label-compliant artwork guidance for your target markets worldwide, including INCI lists, required claims, and regulatory language.
Packaging Options We Can Source
Glass pumps, droppers, jars, and bottle formats can be sourced to suit your approved formula and market requirements. Custom components may require higher supplier MOQs than the 250-unit product manufacturing minimum.

How long does the entire process take from start to finish?
A typical project — from intro call to shelf-ready delivery — takes 12 to 20 weeks depending on the complexity of your formula, packaging lead times, and the number of refinement rounds needed. Private label projects using stock formulas can move faster, typically 6–10 weeks.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom formulation?
Our minimum order quantity is 250 units per SKU. This applies to both custom formulation projects and private label. We specialize in small-batch manufacturing — it’s our core strength, not a limitation.
Do I need to have my packaging sorted before starting?
No. You can start the formulation phase while we work on packaging in parallel, or we can handle packaging sourcing for you. We’ll align on the packaging timeline during the discovery call so nothing delays your launch.
Can I reformulate or adjust my product after the first production run?
Yes. Many clients refine their formulas between production runs — whether to adjust performance, update ingredients, or adapt to a new market. We maintain your master formula on file and can initiate a reformulation project at any time.
Do you handle regulatory compliance for international markets?
We provide regulatory documentation guidance including INCI lists, Safety Data Sheets, and labelling requirements for major markets. We work with brands selling into North America, Europe, the UK, Australia, and beyond. Note that we are a boutique lab — we are not Health Canada licensed or cGMP certified, and we recommend clients confirm specific regulatory requirements for their target market.
